10-T) Kevin Johnson

Teams: Phoenix Suns
PPG: 17.9
APG: 9.1
RPG: 3.3

The 1st point guard on the list is mayor Kevin Johnson. KJ was deadly in his prime; using his signature crossover, vertical leap and insane first step. Johnson was a regular for 20-points and 10-assists a game while with the Phoenix Suns.

During Johnson’s 13-year career he sparked a high-octane offense with the Phoenix Suns. After teaming up with Dan Majerle and Charles Barkley, KJ led the franchise to the NBA finals, where they ultimately fell short to the Jordan-led Chicago Bulls”

Despite coming just short of an NBA Championship, Johnson made it to three NBA All-Star games and was one of the most feared point guards in the league. Since his NBA career was sandwiched in between being drafted in Major League Baseball and becoming the Mayor of Sacramento, we are going to go ahead and call his career a success.
