If there is a position this college season that has a wealth of riches, it is at power forward. The power forward position could be as strong and deep as it has been for years in college basketball. Most of the top power forwards play for teams in the AP Top 25. Two of them are on the verge of breaking into the Top 25.

These players haven’t just made their teams better, but have also had successful individual seasons.. The Top 5 players are all John Wooden Award finalist. To add to their their prowess in college, they are all projected to become 1st round NBA draft picks. All the power forwards on the list possesses amazing talent, are having productive individual seasons and are helping their teams have successful seasons.

In today’s college basketball, the lines have become blurred between the center and power forward positions. Many teams don’t even start a true center, putting more responsibilities on the shoulders of their teams power forwards. That isn’t a problem for this years crop of power forwards. Their talent, versatility and production makes this group of players one of the strongest in years.
